To keep ourselves healthy, avoiding injury and illness across our lifespan is important to maintain a moderate level of strength and fitness regardless of our age or our circumstances. The World Health Organisation recommends 150 minutes of moderate levels or 75 minutes of vigorous cardiovascular activity and 2-3 session of resistance-based exercise per week.

Our physiotherapists can write programs to help you with your initial steps into restoring or building fitness or we can help you develop programs to meet your fitness goals. Should your goal be to build greater muscle mass or tone, increase your cardiovascular fitness or stamina, having guidance to reach your goals is worthwhile.
